I love all the old Brit comedies. Allo Allo, Mind your Language, Steptoe and Son, YES MINISTER, Blackadder, Thin Blue Line, Mr Bean. etc
Sometime ago I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter asked me if she could lend her boyfriend's family some of my dvds. I said yes, of course. It turns out , they love the comedies too. On valentines day he comes to my place to take my daughter out and at once recognised the Fawlty Towers dvd that I was watching. My sister just lent me Keeping Up Appearances' and I am enjoying that too.
Its nice to know younger generations are still into it. (I'm not that old either ;D)

I wish! My 17 & 21 year old step daughters think their father & I are nuts to watch anything in black & white! My parents used to watch in the 60s and we young children used to sit with them. Thats how I have come to remember the series and love it till today.

At least watching these shows they will know the difference between whats good and whats crap..which seems to be whats on tv these days !

I was always into comedy as a kid, I remember laughing so much at Archie Andrews on the radio I brought up my Sunday dinner, my parents weren't amused though.

We always enjoyed the british comedies best. We'd stay up late to watch and then we'd be terribly sleepy in school the next day!
