Our favourites get involved in everything from trying to scare the town, to blood donoring, Frazer is a quiet hero and we find that 1 of the platoon is handy with a bow and arrow.

Just for Hodges getting his comeuppance and getting a clout from Wilson.

I'll go for Ring dem Bells for the inventiveness of the writers ..."wouldn't it be funny if we got some of them in German uniforms", they probably thought, and found a way around it. Also gives Pike the chance to act up and Mainwaring to get the brush-off as far as a leading role is concerned.

We take the episode for granted now, but must have been great fun for the audience on first seeing them kitted out in enemy uniform.
