A great article. One point though, she says the man she tried to save was a 'co-pilot'. This I think would have been unlikely as the Swordfish had room for only one pilot and usually had a crew of Observer (who did the navigation, bomb aiming, and the wireless operating and air gunning if there was no TAG aboard) and a Telegraphist Air Gunner (TAG) who used the wireless set and the rear monted gun. However Macrahanish was an operational training station so I guess it is possible a second pilot was aboard in the back cockpit to observe the pilot in control. it's a pity the journalist did not state who the two men that died were.
